Timothy Grant Evans

Dr. Tim Evans, of Canada, is Dean of the James P. Grant School of Public Health at Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee’s (BRAC) University.  From 2003 through to June 2010, he served as the Assistant Director-General for Information, Evidence and Research and Evidence Information and Policy at the World Health Organization.  From 1997 to 2003 he was Director of Health Equity at the Rockefeller Foundation.  From 1995 to 1997, he was an assistant professor of international health economics at the Harvard School of Public Health and an Instructor in Internal Medicine at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital.  He has a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa and a D.Phil in Agricultural Economics from the University of Oxford, as well as a Doctor of Medicine from McMaster University.
