Nancy Edwards

Nancy Edwards is a full professor in the School of Nursing and Department of Epidemiology and Community Medicine, University of Ottawa.  She holds a Nursing Chair award, funded by the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Government of Ontario.  The focus of her Chair is multi-strategy and multi-level interventions for community health nursing.  She has led research projects in both Canada and internationally.  Dr. Edwards was appointed to the position of Scientific Director, Institute of Population and Public Health, Canadian Institutes of Health Research in 2008.  She has widely published and has won numerous awards including the title of Distinguished Professor at the University of Ottawa.
