MOIRA STEWART

 Moira Stewart is a Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Western Ontario and Director of the Centre for Studies in Family Medicine, and holds the Dr. Brian W. Gilbert Canada Research Chair in Primary Health Care. She is an internationally recognized leader, researcher and educator in the field of primary health care. Dr. Stewart’s research focuses on primary health care, communication between patients and health professionals, and the use of information technology in primary health care. She has published widely on the topic of patient-centered care and has co-edited an international series of books applying the patient centered clinical method.
