Marvin Fritzler is a clinician-scientist who has an international reputation in the fields of autoantibodies and autoimmune diseases. He has published over 320 peer-reviewed publications and is noted for identifying over 20 novel autoantigens that are applied in novel clinical assays that provide early and accurate diagnoses of specific autoimmune illnesses. These diagnostic assays are used worldwide and several have prognostic significance. Dr. Fritzler has held numerous leadership positions in professional organizations, and he chairs the Government of Alberta’s senior strategy and policy advisory board, the Alberta Research and Innovation Authority.
