JOHN F. MACDONALD

John MacDonald is Scientific Director of the Robarts Research Institute and Professor at the University of Western Ontario. He is a world leader who has provided original and clear observations in the areas of signaling between nerve cells and molecular mechanisms of schizophrenic disorders, and has made a major breakthrough in an approach to post-stroke treatment. The excellence of his work is best illustrated by the fact that his key results are published in outstanding top international journals such Cell, Nature and Science.
