HARVEY SKINNER

Harvey Skinner is the founding Dean of the new Faculty of Health at York University. Previously at the University of Toronto he led the academic transformation that resulted in the new School of Public Health. He is an internationally recognized scholar, linking behaviour change and information technology, and has a special interest in global health including the Middle East. Three of his instruments are widely used internationally for addictions and family assessment. He was a Board Member of the Canadian Public Health Association; and an expert advisor to the World Health Organization, the U.S. Institute of Medicine, and the National Institutes of Health.
