GREGOR REID

Dr. Gregor Reid is Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Western Ontario and President of the International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics. Regarded as Canada’s pioneer of probiotics, he developed a natural product used by millions of women worldwide to enhance urogenital health. His international reputation is illustrated by the International Dairy Federation’s Metchnikoff Prize for Nutrition and Health, an Honorary Doctorate of Biology from Orebro University in Sweden, the AUCC Scotiabank Prize for the Western Heads East’s HIV/AIDS community project in Tanzania, and selection by the United Nations and World Health Organization to Chair panels on probiotics.
