Debra J. Pepler

Dr. Debra Pepler is a highly accomplished scholar who is an international leader in research on bullying. Debra Pepler’s research has changed the way we think about bullying, aggression and other forms of violence, especially among marginalized and alienated young people. She has played a vital role in policy development around the world and speaks widely to professional and community audiences about children at risk. She is highly dedicated to putting research knowledge into action designed to improve the lives of children and youth everywhere. Dr. Pepler is co-founder of the national organization PrevNet (Promoting Relationships and Eliminating Violence Network).
