Cyril Frank is an orthopedic surgeon, educator, researcher and administrative leader. His research is focused on ligament injury and healing and he has a strong record of productivity in association with a multi-disciplinary group of dedicated investigators. He and his colleagues created the McCaig Institute for Bone and Joint Health at the University of Calgary and he has been a leader in the development of the Alberta Bone and Joint Health Institute. Dr. Frank served as the inaugural Scientific Director of the CIHR Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis and was recentlyappointed Vice President of Research Strategy for Alberta Health Services.
