Call for Evidence
The Canadian Academy of Health Sciences (CAHS) recently launched its new assessment and is now seeking evidence to inform the study. The CAHS has asked the Council of Canadian Academies (an independent, not-for-profit corporation that supports science-based, expert studies to inform public policy development in Canada) to manage the process. The Expert Panel on Canada’s Strategic Role in Global Health is seeking informed views from both a national and an international audience on Canada ’s current role, global health challenges that Canada could have the most impact in addressing, and examples of Canadian success stories in global health. The Call for Evidence is posted in survey format at: CALL FOR EVIDENCE The deadline for submissions is 8 November, 2010. The assessment is due to be completed in late 2011. For more information contact: emmanuel.mongin@scienceadvice.ca (613.567.5000 ext. 284).
