Céline Goulet is Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Montreal. Dr. Goulet has contributed to the advancement of knowledge in the field of perinatal care and children’s health. In 2003, Dr. Goulet created, as co-director, GRISIM: the Groupe de recherché interuniversitaire en sciences infirmieres de Montreal. GRISIM is the first Canadian research group devoted exclusively to developing and evaluating nursing interventions and assessing their impact on the population. Her research findings have resulted in some 50 articles in scientific and professional journals and she has participated in some 100 conferences, congresses, colloquia, etc. Dr. Goulet has received numerous grants and awards including the “Prix Innovation Clinique” awarded annually by the Ordre des infirmieres et des infirmiers due Quebec (OIIQ) for creativity.
