Brian R. Golden is the Sandra Rotman Chaired Professor in Health Sector Strategy at the Rotman School of Management, The University of Toronto, and The University Health Network. He is the founding Executive Director of The Collaborative for Health Sector Strategy, a policy, research and leadership development institute funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. He conducts research in the areas of health system integration and sustainability, hospital boards, organizational strategy, and strategic change and implementation. From 2005-2010, he was Board Chair at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences. His article “Transforming Healthcare Organizations” in Healthcare Quarterly is the journal’s most downloaded article. He was recognized with the Ted Freedman Innovation in Healthcare Education Award in 2004. His current research and work with government is focused on creating value in Canadian healthcare.
