ALAIN BEAUDET

Alain Beaudet is an internationally recognized and honoured Clinician Scientist, Educator and Health Research Administrator. Recent awards recognizing his research in neuroscience include the “Lifetime Achievement Award” of the Montreal Neurological Institute (2005) and the “Officier de l’Ordre des palmes acadŽmiques Award” from France in 2006. Dr. Beaudet has demonstrated strategic health research leadership both in Quebec, nationally and inernationally in his role as President & CEO, Fonds de la recherche en sante du Quebec and as Co-chair, National Alliance of Provincial Health Research Organizations. Dr. Beaudet exemplifies the rare combination of research skill, administrative leadership, strategic vision, collaborative effort and public health concern in all aspects of Health Sciences endeavours.
